True Texas Tunes at Lake Austin | The Last Jimenez
The Last Jimenez carries forward a true piece of Texas musical heritage. As the son of conjunto legend Flaco Jimenez, he brings both legacy and his own voice to the stage – blending traditional conjunto, Tejano, and Tex-Mex influences with a modern sensibility.
His performances are rooted in rhythm, storytelling, and the unmistakable sound of the accordion, honoring the generations that came before while keeping the music alive for new audiences. There’s a sense of continuity in every song – music that has been lived, shared, and passed down.
Part of the True Texas Tunes series, a partnership with H-E-B, this performance celebrates the rich cultural traditions that continue to shape Austin’s sound.
