Miss Lavelle Birthday Soul Revue
Each year, the Austin music community gathers to celebrate Lavelle White – a true icon and the very first client HOME ever served. This annual birthday celebration is more than a party. It’s a joyful, soulful tribute to the artists who built Austin’s sound and the legacy they continue to carry forward.
What began as a moment of community care – when a group of Austin musicians came together to support Miss Lavelle during a time of housing instability – became the foundation for HOME. Today, she remains at the heart of our mission, and this event honors both her extraordinary life and the broader community of musicians we serve.
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of live music featuring some of Austin’s most powerful voices, including Soul Man Sam, Malford Milligan, Henri Herbert and the Fury, Jennifer Foster and the Audacity, and special guest Ruthie Foster.
